I am working on an indie film, and these are the primary cameras we are working with. They are absolutely incredible when it comes to how they capture video. The lenses on these cameras are amazing. They are very stable. Have used in multiple lighting scenarios from broad day light to dark moonlit lighting, and am amazed at the picture quality. The camera is easy to use, and has all the ports including a built in mic port with a mount. The only thing that is not so great is the audio capture. I would say it is on par with most other cameras of this size though, and that is why having the built in mic input is crucial to making this a fantastic overall camera. Easy to use, touch screen is beautiful, layout is beautiful, works great with final cut pro on macbooks. Honestly this thing takes footage like a 2000 dollar camera. Highly Highly recommend it. The price is amazing especially getting it on a black friday sale. Canon leaves Sony, JVC, and all those other cameras in the dust. This is just on another level for the price point! 5 |

This mic makes a huge difference in audio quality over the built-in mic in my laptop or headphones. When you're working from home, it relaly helps to have a quality mic which makes your voice more understandable. It's very reasonably priced for what it does, and is true plug and play - no drivers are software needed. 5 |
