Ps5 Controller Calibration Software
Morad | 2024-08-02 05:34:16 |
I bought the pro version of the software from B&H about a week ago. Software installation went smoothly on my MacBook Pro/10.9.5. After reading the manual and watched a couple videos on line I was ready to use the software to calibrate my Nikon & Canon lenses. Canon 5D mark3 and Nikon D750 need user assist to run the calibration software which I was not very happy about but got used to it quickly. The only thing I had to watch for was to use a very sturdy tripod and use a very soft touch to change the setting during the test. Of course software takes some camera movement in to consideration when it displays the result. Target setup was not difficult for me and if you setup your target correctly your calibration results are repeatable. Probably the plus version would have been good enough for me. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Real quick, if you have a Switch, a PS5, an Xbox Series X or a dope PC and are in the market for a monitor that's standard wide (16:9), this is the one you need to get. When you unbox this sucker, first thing you'll want to do is download the HDR calibration tool from the windows store; this step helps you get the best possible colors, or it helps calibrate it to how you'd like it. After calibration, you can set the different options on the monitor itself, setting colors, brightness and contrast. I've attached an example of what the before and after can look like. This monitor comes with both GSync and Freesync and being a primarily AMD gamer, this works so well. Baldurs Gate 3, Fortnite, Call of Duty, even Humankind, all dope games that work super well on this monitor. Compared to other monitors, it is plenty bright, the IPS panel can easily light up a room so I run it at about 20% brightness and in my dimly lit room, I get inky black levels and vivid contrast. It isn't as inky as an OLED but overall I am extremely happy with the performance. If you're in the market for a monitor that works for all use - PS5, Xbox, Switch, PC, etc... this is the one you need. If you have it as a backup monitor. You can rotate it on its stand and keep it vertical for a second monitor during moments where you might be streaming live. 5 |

Easy to set up once you understand the controller software 5 |

feels really good quality, all aluminium, the signal has a lot of range, the motor is powerfull, easy to setup, and battery last a lot, have it since december 2015 (20/7/2016 now) and i havent use it professionally but with ef cheap lenses, it worked great. the motors shakes the camera a little which can be feel from the handlebars of the ronin. the motor leaks a bit of oil from the gear but it's normal from what dji said to me. i really wish it lasts a long time, some reviewers said the motor burnt when using it with cine lenses, i hope it doesnt happen to mine, but dji sells the motors only for 500 dolars which is not that expensive (less than an iphone) so i wont cry that much. i like to know that if i bought or work with the X5 camera or drones it will work too, i think the controller could last a lot of time from how it feels, the battery is infinit when using it. i did had a problem once, which was my mistake because i updated the firmware on the controller and not on the motor&reciver and then the hole unit freaks out, the controller screen was blinking weird things and i couldn't calibrate the motor, and when i switched to automatic calibration the motor didn't wanted to stop on the hardstop of the lens so it tried to ripp it off, it was scary, then i updated the firmware of the motor and now it works great, i will never try automatic calibration haha i don't want to destroy the motor so i do manual calibration. i don't know if the DJI focus is watertight or splash proof, but i will keep it away from rain for now 5 |

Makes using controller software simple as plugging into switch 5 |

There's nothing glamorous about color calibration, however it is a necessary task for anyone concerned about color accuracy. I purchased the SpyderX Pro to replace the Spyder 4 device I'd used until making the move to 64-bit-only systems. I've used it with the included calibration software for my MacBook Pro, but use it with the BenQ Palette Master Element calibration software for my BenQ monitor. The process is straight-forward and the end result is beautiful, and that's what matters. 5 |

Very useful accessory accompanied by a very good software to use the color calibration in Lightroom and ACR 5 |

I bought this for my iMac and I'm very pleased with it, it's simple to use and works well. The software download and installation all went smoothly and the calibration process is quick. The monitor definitely looks better after calibration. My only niggle is that the room light measurement is returned as either very high or very low, there doesn't seem to be a level of background light that the unit regards as being normal. Most of my photography is underwater so the SpyderCUBE exposure calibration tool and SpyderCHECKR 24 Color Chart probably won't get a whole lot of use but the bundle was too good a price to leave it behind. From a brief test with my Nikon D300 the SpyderCUBE gives a useful sanity check on white balance, exposure, contrast and black point quickly and easily. Likewise the SpyderCHECKR provides calibration for the camera and the software integrates easily into Lightroom and Photoshop. 5 |

Colors are nice. Built-in calibration software is great. Has a USB port on the bottom of the monitor frame which is very convenient for plugging in a color calibration device. Also a closeable opening on the top of the hood for hanging the calibration device down on to the screen. Neat features that must have been designed by a photographer. The hood is also a nice feature for blocking out ceiling-mounted room lighting. The packaging was the most durable I have ever seen. Have only been using it 3-months but has been great so far. 5 |

Work well. Software is easy to use and rates an HSL adjustment giving you more freedom than a camera calibration that you can fine tune. Good quality too. 5 |
