For some reason (hard use) the cable between the poll and the rocorder seems to always take the worst of it. This is the only off-the-shelf cable that holds up to the abuse. In short, buy it. It will save your butt time and time again.

Loving everything about this tote. Will be taking it on its first plane ride later this week. Will also use it for all my poll workers’ info early next month. Its light weight, roomy, and the padded strap (love that it has only ONE strap) is perfect.

I use the product at the swimming poll, but it also connects my other Sonos speakers at different environments with the same songs or different ones. Very smart.

Great mic to set up on a boom poll and film with my Sonys and Dana Dolly

This mic worked great on location with our video camera. I use it on a boom poll connected to a longer wire and also to our Sennheiser Evolution G2 wireless system. This is a great product for the money. If you are a photojournalist looking to get a short shotgun mic this is it. You can connect it to your camera, a boom poll, a stand and even a Manfrotto 175F Justin Spring Clamp. If you are outside look into getting the Dead Cat Windshield for it. I would do this for every mic you use outside.

We used this kit for the first time at a major press conference and it did a great job of holding our backdrop for it. It is very easy to use and the polls are extremely light weight. I was very pleased with how high the polls can be raised as well and also that the middle poll can extend beyond 12 feet. We have used many other support systems in the past where the backdrop was really to wide for the poll, but it fits perfect on this one. I would have like a little more solid carrying case for it, but the polls themselves work very well.
