Seem to have trouble now and again with the left(or right) controller drifting (usually downward) in a menu or a list, and tracking my boundaries, but other than that, and the system updates not being available when I read about people using them online, it's a good unit... 5 |

Absolutely loving this gimbal! I have my 500mm f/4 mounted to it with a heavy pro body, and this thing is solid. I had been using the original GH-30 for about two years now, and didn't have too much to complain about, other than some drifting and leaking of grease at the joints, but this new GH-30C is such a huge step up. It's noticeably thicker than the older model, meaning I have no fears when mounting my expensive rig to it. There is no drifting whatsoever on this one which is super helpful when composing shots in wildlife photography. Also an added bonus is the weight drop from the other model by nearly half a pound. This is important when taking into account the weight of your entire setup on a tripod. I can certainly say with confidence that this gimbal is very comparable to more expensive models like Wimberley or Jobu. I am incredibly happy with this piece of equipment, and look forward to making many more images with it in the future! [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] 5 |
