Finally! A remote controller for my Quantum flashes that lets me adjust the power manually. Worked perfectly out of the box. You will need to know which lights are Wireless R1 and Wireless R2 if you are using different outputs for more than one light. Another great Quantum Instruments product. 5 |

I took this controller out of the box and in two minutes I knew how to work with it with. That is how easy to work with this little tyhing is. This thing is coming with me everywhere and I will buy 3 more flashes to take advantage of the 4 receivers I have. 5 |

I purchased the Godox TT685o and X1T-o combo because I was frustrated with the optical signaling of the Olympus system. I had looked into radio TTL but few supported Olympus and all were frightfully expensive. My thinking was that if the TT685o were any good at all I would buy more. When it arrived I was pleased with the quality feel and finish. It is about the same size and power as a large Olympus flash as a fraction of the price. Functionally, the TT685o/X1T-o combination is able to do anything I require in off camera flash, straight line flash, around corners, outdoors, or in rooms with ceilings that absorb the optical signals. The X1T-o controller responds to all of the camera setting for flash compensation, first curtain, second curtain and red-eye. High speed sync is selected with a switch on the controller and works to 1/8000 of a second. The surprise is how well the TT685o worked on camera. Other than optical RC it supports every function of an Olympus dedicated flash.. It is also easier to set up than the Olympus flashes due to the multiple buttons. There are only two minor issues: The auto-zoom function does not turn back on after the flash has been used off camera, and when the auto-zoom is working it does not quite match the focal length of the lens. The first issue is fixed by using the reset function of the flash. The second did not appear to make any significant difference in actual use. I liked the TT685o well enough to order two more and put my aging FL-50R flashes up for sale. 5 |

I use the YN-622CII triggers with my canon 580EXII and 430EXII flashes. They work perfectly! I use them in conjunction with the YN 622 TX wireless controller as well and the controller is excellent. Much easier to use than scrolling through the Canon EOS flash menus (I use the 5D MK II). This equipment is very well built, uses AA batteries and work great. Note that the user manuals are poorly written and often nondescript. You will need to find your way simply by playing around with the triggers but really they are simple to use. 5 |

I decided to add some more flashes to my Canon 5D Mark four and use this as the flash controller There is a learning curve involved with using this unit but in the end you can do some really interesting photography and control flashes with this unit Just a note remember this is a radio control device and cannot control some Canon branded flash units 5 |

These flash units work flawlessly with my 622 controller. While I have several other flashes that I use when I need more than 3 units (for rim light or killing shadows on background) I always go for these first because I don't need to dig out the transmitters. Good build quality, rapid cycle time (I use with external battery packs when I need to take hundreds of flash shots). No issues with overheat. Remote operation in both manual and TTL (as good as TTL can get anyway) is spot on! 5 |
