After borrowing and testing a set on 3 different shoots I purchased this set. Very easy to set up for Manual Exposure right from the Controller. Controller makes it so much easier to adjust flash power without lowering light stands and manually setting each flash power! Set your FLASH unit on i-TTL so it receives the correct settings from the controller. I've also used it once as a full TTL with the Camera setting the exposure and it worked OK. I also purchased a YN685 flash that works with the controller without using a receiver, but haven't done a shoot with it yet. 5 |

I have a beauty dish and I installed a Flash YN560-IV on it, with the Flash controller (for Nikon) on my FUJIFILM X and it works perfectly. Directions of the controller is a little confusing (English & Chinese are not my mother languages) but it's perfectly. Transmission between the Flash Controller on the camera and the flash is good, easy to control and adjust for main ligting or remove the shade outside. The flash is well built and heavy enough to give a profesional feeling in hands. It's certainely not the last one I'm going to order. 5 |

I bought one along with the flash along with the YN622N flash controller....they work great together so I purchased 3 more YN685's....They are great to use as a portable studio....I would highly recommend purchasing this especially paired with the YN622N..... 5 |
