The SC3 allows me to plug the Rode SmartLav+ directly to the camera eliminating the need for a second audio track to overlay in post. It just makes life easy.

Works like a champ on my overlay belt which also has two Think Tank lens changer pouches on it. I was at first skeptical about ordering because it's plastic. But when I got it, I lost all concerns. It is a very hard and durable plastic and the portion that the camera slides into is metal lined. I have no doubts this will stand up to regular use for a long time. I have used it on several gigs so far and it's quite comfortable. The heaviest set up I got is a D5300 with a Sigma 18-35 1.8 and it holds it with no problems. It could hold a lot more. I do use the spider floor plate with this holster and it does help with positioning the camera correctly. Highly recommend.

Have used this overlay many a time. I used to never use shortcuts until I first used this overlay on a buddy's machine. This simplifies the thought process for making cuts/edits.

The GPS overlay feature is really cool. I like that certain information can be selected, or hidden, in post. I really like this as a remote tho. And it has a tally light (where the one x2 doesn't) so I now can glance down and see if the camera is recording.

I use this with OBS to overlay different camera shots for the production of online courses. Color is consistent throughout the screen, it pops up nice and tight with no major wrinkles, folds up easily (google it and watch the videos). Some lighting evenly over the surface makes post production work snap.

All in one capabilities (multi-cam input and monitor, battery power, record many-to-one) for remote shoots that lack AC power. Does what it says it'll do, and a little more. Updates seem to be every few months (based on the non-Pro model history). One update (one HW, one SW) to the recently released Pro so far, and it included some things I was wishing for, like a more configurable scoreboard overlay. Updates seem to target the User Group most wanted wish list. Support communications through FB messenger have been good - my issues were resolved fairly painlessly, one overlay text error was tested and confirmed, resolved through a workaround, and said to be on an upcoming update list. The product and support is what I hoped for.

This is actually the second purchase of a Wolverine scanner. I wore out the overlay but not the "C" mechanical button of the first F2 Titan model. I am guessing this was 10,000 presses of the button. I scan black and white 35mm before I cut into strips. Though it is standalone and USB, my wish is for a PC driver so you could start a scan without pressing the button.

Juggling lens changes on the fly in crowded areas and at location shoots was always a pain until I bought a pair of these. I run two cameras a lot, so I have an overlay belt with two of these pouches on it, a spider black widow holster for one camera, and a Black Rapid cross shot sling for the other. Three lenses are with me for these shoots, so two are attached to the bodies and the other is sitting in one of the pouches, With one pouch empty, it makes for an easy transition with removing a lens from a body, putting it in the empty pouch, and grabbing the other lens from the second pouch. All while my bodies are on me and not the ground/ table/ wall edge. I have large hands, so I wanted a bit of overkill on the pouch sizes so I could easily get to the lenses. For the record the Lens Changer 50 3.0 will fit the following lenses with ease: 1. Sigma 18-35 1.8 2. Nikon 85 1.8 3. Nikon 50 1.8G The lens changer pouches are well made, durable, and will probably last a long time. The velcro wrap around belt loop is quite sturdy and will work on a 2" plus overlay belt. The stretchy side pockets on the pouch work nice for lens caps and the elastic draw string at the opening of the main pouch works nice when you want to really secure the lens to keep it from possibly falling out. With my rig set up it is obvious that I am wearing something technically related, but I do not think it is too intrusive or intimidating looking by any means.
