Love these thumb grips

I was looking to have a more secured grip for my Leica SL. After trying out thumb grips fixtures and many other more expensive holding devices, I thought I give the Peak Design Clutch a try. To my surprise it beat any supplemental grip on the market. Easy to attach and access the control dials on the camera without interference. Beautiful design and functional!

What can you say? Match Technical makes the best thumb grips on the market. Sure, you could spend more the the Leica branded grip, but this one is better designed, looks better on the camera, and costs less. A no-brainer.

Match Technical makes thumbs up grips with a precision fit. Pricey, but you get a extremely well machined thumb grip. I have this one mounted on my Leica M (Type 246). I have them also on all my other M and SL bodies.

Purchased to replace a Stealth-PZFI controller that has the small thumb control for zoom. That wasn't so convenient after I upgraded to a Panasonic PX270 that has a very sensitive variable-speed zoom lens. The PZFI has a nice big rocker that allows more precise control. It works perfectly and makes operating my cameras on a tripod much easier.

Got it as a back up just in case. Exactly the same as the original cable that came with the controller.

This kit is well built, and is far more useful than I expected. The FIZ controller and two hand grips provide for countless control options, without limiting the imagination of the operator. The zoom rockers are small, but do allow for proportional speed control. I initially thought one motor was DOA, as it failed to move. It was due to my enthusiasm to test the system without reading the manual. Hint: calibrate the motors first, and then turn on the controllers. Honestly, I cannot think of any criticism of this gear. I can now use a great manual  lens with all the automation that I am used to.

Replacement for an original controller that was worn out. No more excuses for losing battles!

The original QR-10 that came with my tripod did not have the thumb screw and was a tool operated. This saves me a lot of trouble. Love it!

If like me you use a media mod on GoPro you know the original thumb screws are too fiddly to use. This beauty just works. Extends past the edge of the case and is Aluminium rather than plastic! A great find at B&H! Very happy!
