The plug fits into the camera very accurately (not so much with 3rd party remotes) and the performance is very reliable. What more can I say? It's great!

I have been using a Timer Remote controller for years. Makes life and pictures so much easier to just press a button when some one expects you to use the camera. It allows you to get good steady shots all the time even when they don't expect it. Works even better when left alone at an event and it just keeps shooting every 30 seconds for hours giving you shots that no one knows how you took. A must for every event photographer. This Timer remote controller TC-80N3 is a bit expensive. it's very easy to used and it's work flawless. I'm commercial photographer and have been using this TC080N3 day to days basic for the last 4 month with no issued. I have drop on hard-floor many many time and it's still work, no issue. Highly recommend for commercial and landscape photography.

It's not often that I give any product a 5 Star rating, but on few and very far in between cases there comes along a product/tool in my case, that I purchase because I feel it will vastly improve the quality outcome of the photo's I sell. As a Photographer shooting Landscapes requires the camera to be set still on a tripod when ever possible to steady the camera so there is no shaking or movement. Yet in the last step of taking that shot requires the pressing of the Shutter Button, in which no matter how delicately done, it can cause camera movement thus the possibility of the final picture being ever so slightly blurry. This can result in the Photographers many hours of set up, shooting, and take down a complete waste of time. This is where the Canon Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 exhibits Its worthiness. Full of PRO features you might not expect on a smaller slider. The controller has timer settings, continuous repeat, set up so you mark off the range of movement, and camera exposure control. You might not expect the quality build of this unit considering the price! Quality throughout and designed with a number of nifty mounting features for all sorts of shooting occasions. This comes with a zipper carry bag that protects the whole rig while you are moving. Even though it's not a huge rig you'll find that with a good eye and your imagination this will take you far. I'm using it primarily for video accent footage and the smooth moves that you can get with the GVM are so much more pro than handheld. Ok, I like it. Your mileage may vary but I'm guessing not by much. I recommend a ball head for maximum shot flexibility. When you are tracking uphill you'll need it. In Peace.. Bob

This worked straight away, battery already in it, instructions were included. You do have to know how to turn your camera self-timer mode on as this remote works for many cameras they don't have specific instructions for that.

This is a great timer and I love that I can turn it on and off with a power button. This is especially useful on long overnight shoots. My previous timer required removing the batteries.
