Just got this receiver today and setup was a breeze. Hopefully I can come back and update this with in-depth thoughts but for now I have to say it sounds good, looks good, not overblown with features I don't need and was an excellent value. The Sony name comes with great expectations. 5 |

I had to update the rating because I got the updated Bowens speed rings today and I attached the 42" octa and tried to whip the octa off by manually moving the speed ring up and down and this this is solid. Now it snaps into place! Thanks MagMod! 5 |

I'm using this controller with Ableton and it was very quick and easy to setup (my unit already had the latest firmware update too, which was nice). There's a program on the unit for Ableton which again made controlling aspects within the DAW seamless. It's obviously small (only 25 keys), but having the pads and encoders on such a compact unit is great. Fits right on my desk and lets me edit/perform parameters live, and is easy to throw into my bag and take with me. Only downside is that there's no midi out (just usb). So means I can't use with some hardware synths. But for DAW control, fantastic. 5 |

Overall the experience was great! Love the sound and how it compliments the surrounds. When the update for the controller was released I had a little issue but then realized it was something I did wrong. So the experience was Great! Hope there are more!!! 5 |

Easy as pie, connect to power, either POE or wall, adopt in Unifi controller, update and that's it. Ubiquiti gear and the Unifi line is the best there is. 5 |
