Needed more USB 3.x ports with a controller, didn't need to be bleeding edge Gen 2.2.abyx.v10 (3.2 Gen 2 or above). Did some light research, and really wanted to avoid Renesas from a previous experience. The card also needed to fit into a PCIe x1 slot, and other cards looked... dubious, with their USB C ports (3.0 x1 can't support over 8Gbps). Also don't have many C to C cables or devices that use it. Don't need it to power devices beyond flash drives and just drive a powered USB hub with wireless receivers. Installation was straight forward, and Windows picked it up immediately. 5 |

The WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD for PS5 is a must-get upgrade. It's reliable, fast, easy to install, and should store games for as long as you own and use your PS5. I thought 2TB would be too small, but I was mistaken. This adds 2TB on top of the default 600GB of console storage. Furthermore, all PS4 games can be stored on an external SSD. I previously was using my PS5 to play 4k Blu Rays and when this one went on sale I decided to upgrade to a stand alone player. The quality is amazing and a big step up from the PlayStation. After watching a few movies I realized the PlayStation was washed out and the colors were muted. The Panasonic player is silent and can handle any movie I put in it. The menu is great and allows you to customize basically every setting and let's you save up to 4 presets. Definitely worth the upgrade from a console. 5 |

I purchased this to Upgrade my PS5, the installation was super easy, and it works just as it should. If you plan on putting this in the Playstation I would highly recommend picking up some type of Heatsink that's recommended for the PS5. I used the Sabrent and it all fit like a charm. 5 |
