It is a portable compute - you need it!

Gaming performance is great, this has no trouble keeping a 6900xt fed, but I really appreciate having all the extra compute available from a 12 core. This has been a solid solution to any workload I throw at it. Very versatile. I'd recommend it to anyone shopping at this price point.

I splurged and bought this thing for my aging gaming rig as an upgrade. I had been saving since last year and it hasn't disappointed. I ended up upgrading the PSU to a 1000w EVGA since my 850 PSU was shutting the power off to the system unexpectedly. I think the drivers are still a bit out of tune, but the performance is there. Max setting in 4K with HDR600 looking pretty amazing. The fans spin up and down a lot more than thought and it is noticeable. I purchased this PSU for a new build I was doing for a high end gaming machine. Having high end GPU, CPU and other critical components I needed an efficient and reliable PSU. The unit its self is well built, the cables that come with it are top quality and look great to help with cable management and the unit operates flawlessly. I'd highly recommend this product. SeaSonic also has the best warranty on their products.

Good PSU for the price.

The first thing I did when I received this Seasonic unit was to test that it turns on. It comes with a simple PSU tester in a white plastic bag with zip ties and wire ties. My initial impressions is that it is a quiet psu and comes with clear install instructions. It feels like a quality item with nice packaging and a 12 year warranty, which is a pretty confident statement. My first Seasonic psu, so will see how well it holds up.
