Pulling Weather Underground Radar Satellite Image

I love that I can get weather radar and when I look up places to stop and eat, I can see ratings. The XT makes exploring so much easier. I've taken this cross country and into rural areas and this handles everything with ease.

Due to the cost, I debated a long time before pulling the trigger on this lens. But when Nikon put it on sale, I knew that was the tipping point. This lens is very fast. Due to some rainy weather over the past couple of weeks, I haven't used it as much as I would like but the few times, I did manage to get out, I have used it for taking photos of birds. In the future, I intend to use it when I go to some baseball games. Now that the weather is improving, I plan to get out more to put the lens through it's paces.

I have been using this radar gun for baseball. It is very accurate and easy to use.

The image quality is excellent. I like the fact that you can zoom by pushing and pulling on the end of the lens rather than rotating a dial; it's faster. It's easy to handle off a tripod, which is mainly how I use it. I wish it were weatherproof.

I’ve been using this on my Blackmagic Pocket 4K and love it! Pulling focus and T stops are super smooth. The image quality is great for my purposes. Very cinematic... Meaning that it’s not the sharpest image but that’s what I like in a cine lens.

I haven't used it much. A police officer let set with him for a while while he was running radar and it was right with his.

Takes the RAM mount to a new level of convenience! I may use this for a radar detector mount as well.

Great for focus pulling outside.

Con: 1. Not weather Resistance, but has weather sealed rubber gasket. 2. No image Stabilisation.. (Not a must for a small Lens) most Camera has IBIS anyway. Pro: Lightweight & Compact. Best in it's class for the same category & price. Sharp image quality, reliable and fast enough auto focus. IMHO.. It is worth every $$$ for the Features & Performance you get from this Lens. (Fun & Super light in it's Class).
