Upgrading from an old screw-drive motor lens this is a welcome addition to my camera bag. The pulse motor focuses much faster (aside from a few max focal range changes) and is entirely silent compared to the screw-drive. Primarily taking wildlife photos, this lens has been a savior for capturing those easy to miss shots that a longer focus time would fail to capture. 5 |

I like the way it charges the battery with the pulse power first so that you get the quickest use of the next battery and then charges each battery with the next amount of power second, and then lowest power third. 5 |
