Pulse Load Battery Tester Cr2032

Finally a battery tester that will read NIMH batteries, along with Alkaline, Lithium and 9Volt. The pulse load gives a more accurate reading of what battery to use in a portable flash unit. Very easy to use and packs in easily when in the field.

I use this tester every other day. It does place a load on the battery, not just a voltage reading. I estimate that it's a light-medium drain. The measurement is quick and the 18-segment display is easy to read. The GOOD range seems to be about 40-100% charge.

I run through a bunch of CR2032 batteries every couple of months. I like these because battery life has been good, and I can buy them at a reasonable price through B&H.

The RAYOVAC CR2032 Lithium Battery (2-Pack) contained two, count-em two CR2032 cells. Absolutely amazing!!. These were purchased as spares, so I have not measured their voltage yet. Presumably, they will produce the rated 3 Volts and will last for 190 to 240 mAh. They are 20 mm in diameter, shiny and light weight and most likely contains some lithium & manganese dioxide so are technically a LiMn02 cells. FYI: They can explode if heated to more than 80 deg. C.

I like the way it charges the battery with the pulse power first so that you get the quickest use of the next battery and then charges each battery with the next amount of power second, and then lowest power third.
