Put A Voice Recording Over An Instrumental Online

I use this mic for voiceovers/commentaries and instrumental recording. It works perfect and and is very easy to appy different effects without degrading the quality of the sound. Also something to be put into consideration is the shape, although the thread is standard the shape may be a problem to some, it wasn't for me but i thought i would just mention it. I would also suggest that you see it yourself in store to really get a feel for how big it is. The mic itself is very light and the stand is heavy, but that's is for a good reason. Overall this mic records very clear and it is a lot more appealing than some other mics out there. 5 |

I recently purchased this boom for my Voice Over studio. This is an amazing boom at any price. I love the fact that it can be setup without drilling any holes. I also love the fact that it stays where you put it. I use this boom with a TLM 103 with complete shock mount setup and it performs perfectly. If you have any application that requires a boom I highly recommend you pick this one up. 5 |

This mic has been highly recommended by those Voice Over guys that want to try a shotgun microphone and dont have the money to spend on a $ German shotgun mic. I originally asked in a group what the thoughts were on it, only to get immediate responses from over 20 members saying I got one, get it, you'll love it. They were right!. Its a simple, clean mic, very clean sounding and with the right preamp? it sounds very decent. Room control is way easier with the super cardioid directionality of this mic. If you are going to be using this in a mobile setup, do note that you will need aomething with phantom power to make it work. Only thing (IMO) that would complete the package would be a shockmount instead of the plastic standard one that comes with it. 5 |

I'm new to Voice-Over, but this mic was recommended to me by a veteran. I was told that it can produce audition-quality recordings but shouldn't be used for professional productions. I just got done with my first recording session and the quality was superb as far as I can tell. There was no distortion and my voice came out crystal-clear. Also, I liked that this device is completely plugN'play, so I didn't have to change any Vista settings - it self-installed and I was ready to record. Came with a small but sturdy stand and a decently long USB cable. If you work at a desk, the stand isn't tall enough to keep the mic in front of your face unless you prop it up on a box or stack of books, but for $ I'm very happy with my purchase.CheersAlex 5 |

This mic is a work horse. I've used it for years in a studio environment for Voice Over as well as location audio in below freezing and above 100 degree weather. I have never had an issue with the mic not working. I find it takes EQ and compression very well in post. I've had boom ops accidentally bump/drop this mic and it still keeps on ticking! Sennheiser is a rock solid brand id recommend it for anyone who wants to get a super reliable mic without breaking the bank. This is a mic you will not regret getting. Every audio person I know who has bought one and has upgraded has held on to this mic for its reliability. 5 |

I was previously using an AudioBox USB96 and do Voice Over work thus creating a bit of Post Editing to reduce the noise created. I had heard that Audient line ADC chip is the same type as much more costly Audient Hardware and all I needed was a single mic input. Fantastic being able to get the quality without having to buy hardware with many other options I didn't need. It has been a great piece of kit and the only gripe is getting it recognized and working with my Mac OS. This may be because Monterey is having issues with USB C connections. Highly recommend! 5 |
