Putting Ethernet Cable In Wall

I have this wifi access point mounted on a high wall in the central part of the house; it easily provides coverage to all rooms (4000' feet home). You need to have access to an ethernet cable and you must be able to provide power over ethernet or be able to use the included power injector somewhere along the cable run. It works very well and is fairly easy to set up, but it's not a home handyman type of thing. 5 |

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works. 5 |

I was putting audio within a mini storage in the hallways and the only cabling I had available from the office was ethernet. Thankfully I had seen Dante talked about in a console mixing setting that you can move audio within your network with POE Switches and ethernet. It was easy to get it working with 2 of these. To get the 3rd one I had to reach out to support which I merely needed to open the setting for the audio source and create a Multicast Flow for it, which made the whole setup work. 5 |

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well. 5 |

This worked perfectly for my set up. I had a dead zone in my office but already had ethernet going to the wall. All I needed to do was remove the wall cover and pop out the ethernet keystone. Then I made and inserted a two inch patch cable between the keystone and this access point. It was immediately adopted into my existing UniFi system. This is an older AP so doesn't support WiFi 6. 5 |

I love the look of this access point! It blends right into the rest of my home. The supplied wall mounting equipment allowed for a flush install, with enough room in behind the unit for two ethernet cables. The two ethernet ports was the main reason I went with the UAP-AC-PRO vs. other UniFi access points since it allowed me to pass on the network connection to my Ooma on a counter below. Setup was straight forward, and so far performance has been fantastic. It easily covers all three levels of my house. 5 |

I had an arc which is only connected to hdmi, the sub worked wirelessly. To connect the amp (to power in-wall rear speakers), there shouldn't be any Ethernet cable. If the arc has Ethernet, the amp should too, but everything is working great wirelessly. 5 |
