Putting Together Knox Microphone Arm Stand At2020

Good microphone set for recording guitar and voice. The AT2020 is a little on the heavy side so, if you use a boom microphone stand, be sure it's a good quality stand that can support it. 5 |

This is a sturdy stand and worked perfectly with my AT2020! 5 |

I use it to attach a boom arm to my microphone stand and it works perfectly. 5 |

I really like the stand. It folds to be very compact. It has some weight to it so you don't worry putting a handheld on it stretched out that it might fall over. The boom arm is a single piece so I think that is the only functional downside. But it's $30 cheaper than the other option from K&M. I appreciate the discount for what I feel is a very small sacrifice. I did order 3 of them and 1 of them seems to have been cross threaded from the factory where the main shaft and boom arm screw together. It still feels very sturdy and the lock ring seems to grip well so I'm not bothering with an RMA. 5 |

I use this bag for more then a microphone stand. I eliminated several bags by putting my cables, wireless mic and guitar receiver/transmitters in it. My digital mixer, laptop, iPad, and much more. I'm really happy with this purchase. O and by the way this is my second MSB6500 bag. I purchased one in May for my wife and I watched her put her mic stand, wireless mic gear, music stand, stand light, harmonizer, cables, etc in her bag and I said Wow I got to buy me one of those bags and I did. Thanks B&H for having one in stock and shipping it to me so quickly. 5 |

I use this clamp with the 237HD arm and the spring clamp 175. Together hey make a tool that I can depend on not to sag after I've set them. They are heavy duty and I expect them to last a long time. 5 |

The 131DD arm is mounted on my 058B tripod and has a 410 head. Together this set-up makes for very precise camera positioning especially for small products/ objects as well as macro photography. The four heads mounts gives me incredible flexibility with camera angles. It is well designed and manufactured. 5 |

So, I purchased the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone Kit with Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm (Black) and I must say I don't have any regrets. Off the top, there is one thing that I wish were different, but nonetheless, these products are pretty amazing. Firstly, the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is remarkably impressive in the construction, sound quality, and remarkable depth of controls that you have via the Shure Desktop Motiv app or the on-mic controls. This brings me to the thing that wished were different. The connectivity of the app. Shure does provide access to both a desktop and a smartphone app (that you will have to download) but the microphone can only be connected to the devices using wires. It would be more convenient if they were able to connect wirelessly (via WiFi or/and Bluetooth). Once connected to your device the mic can be used or it can also be used by connecting to an audio device using an XLR cord. (regular microphone cable). The Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is an incredible option for content creators without the needed accessories like cloud lifter and the likes, which other microphones in that category demands. This saves you money, time (as it is faster and easier to set up), and it is more compact and less of a distraction while in use. Lastly, the Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm is smooth, modern, and extremely pleasant to look upon. The Boom Arm is impressively designed and helps tremendously with cable management. The cable fits snuggly in the arm. The boom arm is not bulky and is built very sturdily. Once, the microphone is mounted, it is very easy to adjust the boom arm for perfect positioning. I LOVE THIS!!! 5 |

I bought the Deluxe Extended Two-Joint Mic Arm for use in my new voiceover booth. Space is tight, so I knew I didn't want to have a typical stand taking up precious real estate. Using this boom-arm and the matching wall mount made short work of getting my booth up and running. With the dual-jointed arm, and extra long segments, the microphone can be positioned from very low to very high, without having to fiddle around with mic-stand clutches or standard boom arm adjustments. All it takes is a simple push or pull and the mic is positioned exactly where it's needed. The springs do make a slight rumbling sound which is picked up by my microphone, even though it's mounted on a shockmount. But, I will add some split vinyl hose pieces over the springs to dampen the vibration. Typically done in radio stations across the nation where this is a problem. High quality, great price, and fast shipping from B.H. PhotoVideo. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and ordering from B.H. PhotoVideo was a pleasure. 5 |

I needed a boom arm but not the stand to hold it, so this was perfect. It's substantial enough that I can trust it to hold the microphone, and it telescopes smoothly. 5 |
