Pvc Pipe Tyvek Projector Screen

It is a good small compact dolly and works well on tracks or PVC pipe.

I ordered this extension pipe for my projector mount and was unsure if it truly would do what I needed it to do. I wanted to get an extension to lower my projector to fit my screen better so I didn’t have to use keystone effect. This extension did exactly that. Not only did it fit my mount but with the 1” incriminates it was a perfect fit for my projector. Love it and would recommend to anyone.

I made a DIY PVC pipe frame to go with this and it really works great for outdoor portrait sessions.

I started out using pvc pipe but they bowed under the weight. Bought these to replace the pvc pipes and no more bends.

The fill light from this reflector has upped my game when it comes to headshots. I tried making one from PVC pipe, and it 'worked', but not like this. Much easier than holding a reflector by hand under the subject!

I have two of these units outside, weather protected of course, and they have worked flawlessly for us. The distances are about 250 feet on each side of unit, letting us reach 500 feet total. Some reviewers claim not able to reach over 275 feet or so on both sides with one of these devices, but sorry to say I can't confirm that. Here's a tip: Use short length of PVC pipe from hardware store to weatherproof the unit. Use 1.25 or 1.5 inch pipe (don't remember which it was) and the unit fits right in. Use PVC threaded caps to seal both sides of pipe (I use threaded in case I have to access device). Drill small hole on each cap and thread the CAT5 cable through, put on the clips, insert them into device, put a squirt of all-weather caulk on drill holes to seal it up.

I bought this with the Glide Gear SYL 960 and together they work great (see my review on the Glide Gear 960). What I like best about this system is price, the convenience of a carry bag and ease of setup. I hated lugging my other dolly tracks to set since I used either white , ten foot, PVC tubing or ten foot steel pipe at one of those home improvement stores and I could never fit it properly in my truck since it always hung dangerously out the back. The Glide Gear track is well made and even comes with eight (8) rubber pads to stabilize the 12' track on flat floors. I love its total convenience and now no longer dread throwing loose PVC or steel pipe into my grip truck before a shoot.

Premier Mounts is a big name in projector, LCD, and other types of mounts, with that big name you'd expect big price. Not with this mount, I needed 3 mounts for projectors and I had 2, for less than the cost of adding one of the ones I already had, I bought 3 of these...and they're much better! Mounting to the projector (even the European ones I had) was very easy, but the greatest feature is the magnetic latch to the 1.5 pipe adapter. This allows you to mount the pipe adapter to your pipe (truss, ceiling, etc) and install the mount on the projector then just attach the two with the magnetic clamp, easy. The powder white coating looks nice and is textured and rugged. Very happy with the mounts.

I ordered the official mount kit for my Epson 5030 projector. It only came with a 6 extension. I rated this product 5 stars because it does exactly what it promises to do. It extends my Chief RPA mount down another foot, placing the projector exactly where I want it.While I could accomplish the same thing with a $$1.5 diameter steel gas pipe from Home Depot (yes I was actually using that). I would still need to paint the pipe white to match everything else.The Chief pipe is also aluminum, not steel, so its less weight/strain on the actual mount thats bolted to the floor joists above in the ceiling. Finally the Chief pipe has a square cut out, that can be used to hide the power/HDMI cables in. Make the installation look much neater & professional. For $23 this is pretty much a no brainer. Be advised B&H photo free super saving shipping means it will ship FedEx out of Edison, NJ to a local post office. From there the post office will deliver to you. I ordered on a Friday, received on a Thursday. So expect at least a week for arrival. If you need this item faster, use UPS ground or air. UPS ground ships from NJ/NY to VA/MD/DC in one day and was only $$more. Since I was in a rush, I should have chose that option.
