Pyle Upgraded Premium Rack Mount Bluetooth Receiver

We got two sets of rack mount receivers, plus a on camera receiver, so 5 receivers in total. We got two handheld and two lavalier mics with transmitters, plus a headset mic for one of the transmitters. The two rack mount unit connects together to a perfect 1U unit. The user-friendlyness of this system is fantastic. No channel choice, just plug and play. You pair each transmitter and receiver like it was a wireless keyboard. If you only buy on system, they are paired out of the box. The power button doubles as mute button and keeps the RF alive, but mutes the sound, giving the user the ability to control the sound, without worrying the sound guy if the unit is on and working. The on-camera receiver, both outputs balanced and un-balanced signal, allowing us to use it both on our Sony A7s and on our Sony PXW-Z100, without conversion cables. The on-camera receiver is also rechargeable via standard USB cable. Best of all, and most importantly: Sound is spot on!

The factory description does a good job of explaining the product, so I will not repeat the basics. The main advantage of the rack system is that the receiver electronics are better, so that overall operating range is nearly double that of the camera mount units. The ability to remote the receiver/antenna modules via a CAT 6 Ethernet cable is very useful. Personally, I mount the receiver modules onto a non-metallic (painters) pole 15 feet above my soundcart so that they have better line of sight. I like having XLR outputs and the professionalism of the rack unit.

I needed the antennas of my Audio-Technica wireless mic receiver to be on the front of the rack, instead of behind it (on the back of the unit). This kit allowed me to mount the antennas on the rack mount plate. Don't get no better than that.

The System 10 Pro is very well explained in the product description on this site, so no need to repeat. The main advantage is that because of the rack receiver electronics, the operating range is almost double that of the camera mount portable system (I own those, too). At the very least, you can remove the receiver/antenna modules and mount them up on a (non-metallic)painters pole or wooden/plastic pole and get them 15 feet above your soundcart in order to insure a clear line of sight for the antennas -- boosting the range considerably! Using an inverter or an efficient DC battery (12-13v) you can power the rack in the field if there is no AC available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pyle PDBC70 is a simple to install, simple to use rack mountable power strip that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Nine grounded outlets each with an individual on off switch. Can also be used on the table top with the four mounted rubber feet. Pyle is known for its line of cost-effective audio support products, and the PDBC70 does not disappoint.

I use this rack for a GK bass head, a korg tuner and a pyle power supply. The rack is excellent. I place it on my speaker cabinet and set on it during jam sessions with no problems. The lids fit and lock perfectly.

We are so glad we upgraded to this receiver. Finally up to date.

I have upgraded my whole system. No more receiver! I love everything!
