I recently used this system for 8 hours of interviews on and off and the battery life was great. There was no interference and my subject was about 15 feet from the interviewer. I own a few cordless lavalier & hand-held microphone systems (by Sennheiser) that are used for my audio/video projects. An antenna to one of the cordless receivers was found to be broken after I put it in my made-for-video equipment backpack. So, I did a quick research for a safer way to transport the Sennheiser ENG systems and found this on the B&H web-site. Bottom line is that the entire unit of each cordless transformer & receiver, including the antenna, is safely packed into the case for transport.
