Quadcopter Aircraft Drone With Hd Camera

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ Version 2.0 Quadcopter is a great drone for a first-time drone user. Its a full function drone with all the features I was looking for. I'm finding it easy to learn and the Phantom really flies itself. It hovers perfectly and the controls are easy to learn and use.

Frankly, I never thought I'd enjoy this little aircraft as much as I do. The buy was on a whim. I own most all of the DJI Prosumer drones. I can easily say that the Avata is the most fun I've had with any of my fleet. The drone can be parked in a shoebox, flown where no other drone can be flown with confidence. Keep in mind that I'm NOT an FPV pilot per se. That will change! I do own the big brother, the DJI FPV. Neither of these aircraft have been flown in Manual mode, yet. I feel that the Avata is the easiest way to learn to fly in Manual mode. Time will tell... The goggles are crystal clear (and a bit uncomfortable on my nose). They provide excellent line of sight range. I can say that I ran out of electrons BEFORE I ran out of miles. But range is NOT what this little drone is all about. This aircraft is all about up close and personal with your subjects. Penetration through houses and forests has not been a problem as long as you stay within 3,000 feet or so (FCC). Highly recommended!

Now keeping my drone safe, secure and well protected from bumps, aircraft baggage handlers and the weather.

I am having fun photographing stuff, but as a r/c aircraft/drone builder, I also use it to inspect tiny electrical connections and parts on my builds. I am making a flexible mount to hold the scope where I want it. The photos from this microscope are GREAT.

See exactly what the drone camera sees in HD (720p?) even in bright sunlight with no display hood, and with virtually no lag time. This is a real game-changer for getting the exact shot that you want. It's a little pricey but, all things considered, worth every penny. I got the small version (5.5), and for the way I fly and take video, I would have no need for the larger versions. I use it for my DJI Mavic Pro. You may need to purchase a 3rd party display mount since at this time DJI does not have one for the Mavic controller. You will never regret purchasing this display!

I already had the lower part of the mount and just needed something to mount the camera to my aircraft, works great.

You will probably will crash your quadcopter (everyone does) so I would get this. Helps save your blades.

I give this camera 5 stars because I knew what I would be getting for the price, and the SJ4000 has delivered. I use it on my quadcopter, and the video quality @ 1080p 30FPS is excellent. For me, spending substantially more for a GoPro did not make sense. I added a 32GB MicroSD card, and it does everything I need it to do. Are there some glare issues, and some brightness issues in certain lighting situations? Yes. But the great price that I got from B&H made it very easy for me to live with these issues.

I used the 1550 case to secure my quadcopter and camera gear for travel. The diced foam on the inside makes it very easy to customize for your gear. I even made double layered or secret spots on the second layer of diced foam. The yellow really pops and makes me feel less like an amateur and more like a professional. Super durable and waterproof! This case was $ less than a similar custom quadcopter case, but I made the 1550 fit way more things. Very happy with this purchase. Only downside is its weight. Pretty hefty, especially after all the gear is inside. Totally worth it for the durability and reassurance of protected gear.
