For an inexpensive microphone stand, it seems to be solid.

This is the best microphone stand. High quality and well designed in every detail. The clutch is particularly well designed, as it allows for one-handed operation, and is easily repositionable once locked. K&M must stand for Kwality & (Extremely Well) Made.

This is a very nice stand,high quality and a great value.I'm using it in my ham shack with a Heil ICM desk microphone. This stand with the Heil ICM microphone looks great and the 8 height is perfect.

This microphone stand is well-designed, the construction quality is high, and it works very well. Spend a little extra and buy this one. Highly recommended!

This is the best microphone I've ever owned and it's also amazing for the price as well. I've gone through many in my time but this one nothing holds a candle to especially combined with a pop filter and reflection filter. The desktop stand for it looks cheap but it holds it's own for what most use it for. I hooked it up to a more heavy duty stand as I use it for guitar and story narration. Lots of options, amazing sound quality and the overall build quality is astounding.

While this stand is quite heavy, and not something I'd want to lug very far, the build quality is superb. I use it as a microphone stand. You'll never have to worry about it being toppled over; anything or anyone who hits it will come out on the losing end! The leveling leg makes it easy to set up on uneven terrain. There's no plastic whatsoever here. It will last a lifetime, or more.

If you do not have a proper base for a goose neck then this clamp is the ideal solution to have a quality microphone stand that can clip to anywhere.
