[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable wireless streaming microphone is a no brainer for those who like to have everything they need in the size of an earbuds case! The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless (USB-C) microphone is tiny but packs powerful capabilities from the ease of being a plug and go device, to its super long range transmission, to the simple app use. This microphone is really for the on the go streamers, influencers, youtubers, instagramers, and so much more! I have used the Quantum Stream for reels, one on one interviews, to even musical recordings for a brass quintet. You will not find another product that comes close to competing with the JBL Quantum Stream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum is sleek microphone. I wasn’t even aware that JBL made them, but I’m glad to find out they do. The Quantum is very easy to use. It has a single knob on the front to adjust the volume, which also affects the brightness of the LEDS. At the top, you are able to tap to enable/disable recording/audio. Green for audio and red for mute. Pretty simple if you ask me. I also really like how the Quantum can be positioned 360 degrees, this makes it more flexible to use depending on your preference. The Quantum itself is very sturdy and has a nice weight to it as well. The bottom part unscrews for easy storage or travel. Underneath there are two ports, one for the headphone jack and one for the USB cable. Setup is very quick & easy. I’m not much of a gamer anymore, but I have used the Quantum with Skype, from what my friends have told me I come in sharp and clear. I plan on making more use of this microphone in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum Stream Talk is a condenser microphone for streamers, gamers, and podcasters on a budget. It offers several features typically found in more expensive mics but with some trade-offs. Pros: Great audio quality for the price: The microphone captures clear audio with a wide frequency response, especially in cardioid mode (focused on a single voice). Easy to use: Plug-and-play functionality with basic controls on the microphone itself. Compact and portable: Small footprint and lightweight design make it easy to position and transport. Built-in shock mount: Helps reduce vibration noise for cleaner recordings. One-press mute button: Convenient for quickly silencing yourself. Affordable: Priced competitively compared to other USB microphones with similar features. Cons: Limited pickup patterns: Only offers cardioid and omnidirectional modes, lacking the flexibility of some competitors. Software required for advanced features: Windows-only JBL QuantumENGINE software needed for equalizer adjustments, noise reduction, and monitoring. Omnidirectional mode not ideal: Picks up too much background noise. No boom arm mount: Stand limits positioning options. Microphone placement can be sensitive: Slight movements can cause audio spikes. Overall: The JBL Quantum Stream Talk is a decent microphone for streaming, recording, and gaming needs. It delivers good audio quality for the price and is easy to use. However, the lack of advanced features, limited pickup patterns, and software requirements might hold back users seeking more control and flexibility. If you're on a budget and prioritize simplicity, it's a worthy option. But if you need more versatility or professional-grade audio, consider upgrading to a more feature-rich microphone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this not only sounds good, but it's instinctual to use, whether through the onboard controls or the app. The JBL quantum stream talk microphone is equipped with a super cardioid voice pick up pattern that is intended to pick up sound that is directly in front of it. This is perfect for when you only have a single sound source and don’t want to pick up room sounds that would affect the recording such as recording a podcast, on a skype/teams call or games that require online interaction or to stream your comments during the gameplay. I must say that recordings I have created using this microphone are crystal clear, especially when compared to others using a standard headphone mic. Also there is the quantum engine software download which allows you to adjust various settings such as an equalizer (EQ), LED display and noise reduction. Some other notable features include voice monitoring with easy volume control, a shock absorber for noise reduction, and led ring indicator (red, blue and red for mute) to indicate the microphone status. I really like the LED indicators that are incorporated in the Quantum products, it definitely adds to the experience. I have paired this with the JBL quantum 910P using both the wireless dongle and a direct connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a headset that was diverse in gaming but that could also be used for video calling. The JBL Quantum 910X really delivered on expectations and then some! It feels high quality and durable in my hands. Not a fan of the plastic but it’s something I can get past because green is my favorite color and the accent is just French kiss. The gaming experience: While wearing the headset, I immediately noticed how comfortable and surprisingly lightweight they felt on my head and around my ears. At times I would game for 1-2 hours around 3-4 times a week and not once did they feel uncomfortable or did I feel any fatigue for wearing them which is really welcoming considering how headphones can feel overtime. When I used the Quantum 910X to for RPG, FPS or sports games, the sound effects sounded crystal clear making it an even more enjoyable gaming experience. I truly felt “in the zone”. It really makes a difference having gaming headphones. I did not test the microphone while gaming a lot because I’m more of a solo act, but when I did test them for the sole purpose of gaming, my partner said I sounded good through the microphone. The other uses experience: The Quantum 910X also helped boost my efficiency and productivity as I used them for online work meetings and video calling and whoever was on the call could hear me quite clearly. If you are looking for a headset that can perform multiple tasks, I’d highly recommend these. Feels like a call centre when I’m not gaming haha. Apart from video calls, playing music through them is also good, maybe less so than dedicated headphones for that department in my opinion but still gets a little bassy (for me) and has some good passive noise cancellation from the earcups themselves. Overall: I love them! I’ll probably use them a lot more because it got the microphone so it’s more multifunctional than normal headsets.

Finally! A remote controller for my Quantum flashes that lets me adjust the power manually. Worked perfectly out of the box. You will need to know which lights are Wireless R1 and Wireless R2 if you are using different outputs for more than one light. Another great Quantum Instruments product.
