I use this as a backup for my Mac using the Mac app Time Machine. It backup by itself (once plugged in) - I don't have to tell it to do so!

The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and it has a very small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! Mac is Great…..now for a review of the shopping on B&H I appreciate your online shop, and the experience of being able to easily find and compare whatever I choose. Without being fed a bunch of recommendations from an algorithm. Any of the major online tech shops I feel like I’m being baited and pushed. Not knowing who I’m actually purchasing something from with dizzying options and no real information about the product I’m looking at. I for one would like to say I’m OK taking a little bit of the work on myself I don’t need algorithms for everything that I do and I certainly don’t need machine learning to tell me what I think . Thanks for keeping it relatively simple.
