I got this to manage all of the receipts and invoices I receive, fast and simple to use.

The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and it has a very small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! I use this paper for a variety of things...including fliers and invoices for my graphics business. It is very sturdy while producing a great finished product....displays fantastic colors!

I was amazed at how easy this Epson WorkForce ES-580W Document Scanner was to set up. The software had step by step instructions for downloading to my laptop and there were no glitches. After the scanner was turned on I set the language and time' the download was complete and ready to scan in less than 10 minutes. This is the easiest way to save documents whether you are looking to scan recipes, receipts, invoices or any other documents to your computer, email or online cloud storage. It even has the capability to scan without a computer to a USB memory drive.   The best part is it's wireless but also comes with a USB cable if you want to hook it up directly to your computer. The touch-screen is easy to navigate and the unit has a 100 sheet auto document feed. I did a trial scan of some recipes and saved them to my laptop in a RECIPE file.  Next I scanned a variety of about 20 invoices using the auto feed and every sheet ran through perfectly. This scanner is perfect for home or business and I plan to use it in my home office to keep everything neatly organized in computer files. I am very impressed with how simple the instructions were and easy to download the software to be ready to start scanning and get organized.  No more piles of receipts and invoices, everything is neatly filed on my computer. Whether you are scanning 3x5 recipe cards, invoices or 8x10 documents, the paper width can easily be adjusted to the width needed. There is also a scanner maintenance tab where it shows step by step photos for cleaning the roller. I just got this today (Sep 4, 2024) and I love it. Lots of saving options for the receipts/invoices. Since I save my receipts to a file on my computer, it makes me happy. You can also save to CSV, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, etc. I am also able to name files the way I want. It's a single sheet feed, but you can either 'stitch' pages together OR combine them. Unit is small so I can keep it by my side and do receipts in the evening. Oh - I bought this model because I really didn't need wireless.

Wow, I can finally scan both sides of the page at the same time - such a time saver and so efficient. It is so easy, just put a stack of receipts, invoices or documents in the feeder and you can multitask at the same time it's scanning. It has a nice big touchscreen and you can scan to a variety of devices. Not only did I get my messy stacks of receipts and invoices organized, but the fact that it is wireless means one less tangled cord on my desk. It is definitely helping my home office stay organized. The Epson brand never lets me down and you can literally take it out if the box and be using it 5 minutes later. Connecting was also seamless. The graphics are excellent and crisp. I do not think you will be disappointed with this device especially given the price point. I'm sorry I didn't get it sooner. I use an Epson Artisan 50 for a desktop printer for documents, letters, invoices, etc. Occasionally, my wife asks me to print a color brochure for her volunteer jobs. For the amount I use it, OEM ink is a no-brainer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with this printer. I use it for my work printing invoices and brochures. It is very solid and responds to tasks immediately. It prints much faster than my last printer. The best part is it looks really nice on my desk! Hp did a great job with the 8135e model.
