[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so awesome. I really love the scan to quickbooks feature, it makes entering receipts a whole lot easier. Great quality and love the Canon brand! 5 |

The features are almost mind-boggling. Performs two-sided scanning if needed, and the scan speed is the fastest I've ever encountered. Scan quality is excellent, even for color. The user-friendly software allows me to review each document or receipt before saving or exporting, so if I need to make adjustments I know right away. I use Quickbooks desktop version for accounting and had no trouble at all identifying fields and info I wanted to save and export. Should work equally well for Quickbooks online version. Being able to export as a "searchable PDF" is a big plus. It can also save documents as Word file or Excel spreadsheet data or even Powerpoint (Windows version). It even scans business cards. That's versatility not found in run-of-the-mill scanners. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth every penny if it saves time and frustration over manual recordkeeping and document retention. Setup was a breeze right out of the box and it has a very small footprint. It can be used either wired or wireless, with the ability to send scans to email or a smartphone. This thing does it all. I'm definitely impressed and will be recommending it to friends and family. My nephew is a farmer and my neighbor is a truck driver, and both professions require extensive recordkeeping. I'm sure that once they've tried this scanner the benefits will be obvious, especially to their wives who do all the accounting! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. 5 |

I've shot this a couple of times in the past and rated it at 12 (5 stops) to compensate for my Hoya R72 filter based on what everyone online was saying to rate it at. I indeed got very dark, nearly black skies but I almost never had any detail in the shadows. It was too contrasty. I never quite liked the look of it but I've seen nice photos online that told me it was only a matter of tinkering with settings. So this time I decided to give it one more stop, rating the film at ISO 6 instead of 12 and that seemed to have done the trick for me. I got good shadow detail and brilliant, crisp whites. My settings were f/11 at 1/30. Lighting condition was bright, high noon sun. The 120 format provides much needed resolution, especially if you're shooting 6x9 like I did. Shooting this in 35mm is waste of time, film, and money in my opinion. The film is not terribly sharp and the grain is moderately high so photos come out looking gritty on 35mm. 120 or larger makes shooting this film worth it. I developed in Kodak T-Max 1:4 for 12 minutes and I got wonderful contrast and detail. I'll continue buying this film now that I have figured out how to shoot it to my taste. 5 |

Not much to report here. It's gaffer tape. It did what it was supposed to. I will buy it again! 5 |
