I got this for voiceover work on some training materials I'm developing, and I expected it to be about half it's actual size. I thought it'd be about 1-1/2, it's closer to 2-3/4 or just about 3 really. The mount is metal and solid, much heavier than I thought, which is a good thing. I did have to make a stand to put it on to raise it to mouth level, so you may want to look at getting a Mic boom for it. Performance is basically so good that it just doesn't even matter anymore, for any normal use. It has a preamp that generally you don't even need. The multiple patterns are also great for the various typical uses you need, single person, interview/two people, omni etc. 1/2 thread mount in the bottom that you can adapt to 1/4-20 if you want, or just get a mic boom with a 1/2 thread and done.

I have been shipping training materials and equipment both nationally and internationally utilizing the Pelican/Storm iM2750 cases for several years now. I am using the Kengsinton Expert Mouse every day. I am a contractor developing training materials in Powerpoint, and the trackball makes the movement of my cursor across my two monitors 'wicked fast!'. Plus, I used the free software to program two of the 4 buttons to open my photo-editing application and my web-browser. Now I can search for an image and edit it with just a few button clicks. It really has saved me a lot of time in the short period I've owned it!

I needed a background because I'm doing online corporate training videos. Another review said the bricks are really large, and they are--in person. But when I tried taking some video to see how it looks on the screen, it looked great. I've very happy with this purchase. Oh, it seems heavy duty and durable, also. I only need one backdrop for this video project, but if I needed more, I'd buy from this vendor again.
