Quiet Color Laser Printer

Brother makes a great Laser color printer, so you'd expect them to make great cartridges. AND they do!

I've had this perfect size laser printer for several weeks now and love it. It's quiet and fast and the perfect solution to desk jet printing. For a little bit more money toner cartridges print about 5 times as many pages as a desk jet ink cartridge, they are cleaner, sharper images and don't smear if they get wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little printer really works well. Setup was a breeze, and this is my first laser printer. I was able to hook it up to both of my phones and my laptop through Wi-Fi and I am not very computer or internet savvy. The printing is so quick! I was surprised at how quiet it was. It fit perfectly in my little cabinet so it doesn't have to sit out and be visible all the time, but at the same time it has a really cool and cute design so I wouldn't mind if it was sitting out. I'm really glad I got this and I'm excited to see how the laser printing compares to a regular printer. The papers I printed so far look great! I also heard that laser toner lasts a lot longer than regular printer ink, so that's a plus. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a good printer that is easy to set up, nice and small, and quiet.

We just purchased this new printer to replace our MFC-8890DW which we had for over 7 years....this was a real workhorse. This MFC-L8900CDW is "Great". Our first color laser. Normally we print all color docs on an InkJet...those days are now over. While some have commented that the dispslay panel is a tad laborious to navigate we found no problem with it. We use the Control Center 4 application to remotely setup any of the features and all works seamlessly with our network. It was basically take the printer our of the box, plug it in, and viola, the network found it immediately on all our devices...what a dream. We have only had this printer about a month so it's still in the trial period. The color docs we have printed so far are good. Not photo printer quality, but nonetheless, acceptable. The printers performance overall if five star....and the quality of the copies printed is far better than I've seen on other laser printers. This is truly a homerun for any office or home based business or just personal use.

Printer is great. Have not used it for color prints that much at this time, but it is a quiet,fast, energy saving printer with a lot of great options and the print quality is very good also.
