They work until they don't- I'd rather see reviews from folks who just lost a drive than from someone who's been using it for a week. This lens is everything the good reviews say it is; quiet, fantastic color, sharp! Coupled with the Pentax 1.4 Teleconverter it's astounding, but it does require a steady hand, although the accompanying photos are hand held by a 74 year old, on an old K3 body. 5 |

I read some reviews here that say this drive is loud when it seeks, but that is not been my experience. For a NAS drive it's very quiet. As far as quality goes, I won't know for a year or so, but we used these at work and never had any trouble. This is used as a backup drive so it's always spinning and online. 5 |

I decided to go with this case because of the reviews of how quiet it is. After three weeks of use, I can say, it is very silent. Solid construction and easy to work with with plenty of room to get your hands in. The case comes apart in many ways so you have easy access to every component.
