Racing Simulation Setup

I bought three of these for use in a Linux RAID 5 setup to hold large amounts of engineering simulation data. They've been solid so far. No errors reported via smartctl so far, and they're not running hot or reporting anything odd. They are a little louder than other Seagate drives, but not significantly so. They're certainly heavier (1.72 lbs each) due to having six platters inside each unit. I noticed the weight difference when I put the system back on its shelf after installation was complete.

I first experienced flight simulation in 1998 with the Microsoft flight Simulation program. I'am retired now and became interested in flight simulation again and downloaded the MSFS 2020. My old control apparatus was not compatible with the new MSFS so I began searching for new controls. I was familiar with B H from purchasing photo equipment in years past. After contacting BH sales and being placed on a waiting list for a basic joystick I received notice of the availability of the one I recently purchased. Thanks B and H for getting me back on track.

I needed some extra light for my racing setup and I got the Key Light Air. It's easy to use and perfect to move around. The brightness is incredible and I only have to use a small amount from what the light can do. You can set the light exactly to the Kelvin you need and adjust your camera on that so it looks great!

I am having a blast with this setup. It's my first ever wheel/pedal set and for the money it's a great addition for any racing fan. Wish I hadn't waited so long to pull the trigger.

Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again.

This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display. The reach and steadiness of the arm is beyond reproach: even perched at an extreme angle with a DD wheel setup vibrating nonstop, this holds steady.

This is one of the best things I have ever used in a racing setup. The build quality is top notch with real metal and it feels great. I would totally recommend it.

I held off for months into getting a proper setup for sim racing that'll be a good experience, just because of the expense. It's well worth the money, and strikes a good balance between a quality experience, better technology within the base, and future upgrades like different wheels that work with the TX base, and the H-Pattern shifter.
