I have a portable ham radio that produces mono output. When I have stereo headphones plugged in directly, I only get sound in the left ear. When I have the mono-to-stereo adapter plugged into the radio and the headphones plugged into the adapter, I get sound in both ears, which is exactly what I wanted. 5 |

These mono earbuds eliminate the need for a mono-to-stereo adapter (and a right-angle adapter) when I listen to my mono radio scanner. The earbuds have an (almost) 90 degree plug (different from what is shown in the photo). 5 |

I'm using this adapter to get an RCA stereo auxiliary input to plug into my car stereo, which has a 3.5 mm stereo jack. This works exactly as it should. The RCA female plugs fit nice and tight, so I don't have to worry about the connection loosening over time. Great value for the price. 5 |
