Radio Base Motorola Pro 5150

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

This printer, the Epson Eco-Tank Pro ET-5150, is a totally fascinating and ingenious new product. I am not a technical person and I normally do not attempt to setup computers, laptops, phones, fitbits etc. I am sure by now you get the picture of my abilities in the tech world. But I really must tell you that from start to finish, my husband and I set this printer up, and filled the in tanks in about 25 minutes. The print instructions that came with the printer are clear and concise. Step by step detailed directions that are pretty much self explanatory! Once we set up the printer, filled the ink and downloaded the info the home computer, I then attempted to get the app, download it and then connect my phone to the printer. When I say I was literally getting anxious about it and hoping I would not make a mistake. Again, Epson did a fantastic job outlining what had to be done that I did not have a single issue connecting and setting up my phone and the printer to connect. There is a lot of ink in each cartridge. The ink bottles are designed to snap into place when placed in the printer. No mess, no overspill. The photos that it prints are very vivid, vibrant, and the colors do not bleed. The printer is an all in one scanner, printer and fax machine. It is self cleaning, efficient and eco friendly. The Epson Connects app not only allows you to print documents from your laptop and or your phone, this printer allows you to print from the iCloud. Just what I needed to complete my portable base radio.

Haven't really had a chance to try it out yet, am setting up a base station. However, I applaud Midland for marketing a radio that has the transmit power that is advertised. Right smack dab on 5 watts, maybe a tad over, according to my cross needle power/swr meter. The radio seems well built, with well implemented controls. I would prefer a better microphone connection that would facilitate disconnection of the mike if desired.

I'm not using it for lighting or stage, but rather a ham radio antenna. I bought it specifically to use at the base of a mast pole that I needed to tilt over to where I could reach the top and do some work on it. Using this clamp and a pole pounded in the ground, I was able to tilt the top down without the base sliding away from me.

I have had several Moto phones throughout the years and Motorola has never disapointed.

I own 3 daylight units. Each of them ranges from 5150-5350K. None are 5600K. All have the same slight green tint, which doesn't really have to be corrected (a 1/8th minus green was too magenta).
