Raise My Computer Keyboard

My old computer had a problem that apparently no one could fix, so... I got a new one. So far my only problem is that I forgot to check the storage capacity and ended up with a smaller capacity that I had. So could not store some of my data there. Otherwise, I am very happy with my new computer without any stupid problems. I am finally getting used to the new keyboard. I had the same keyboard on my last 3 computers.

THIS IS MY SECOND IDENTICAL KEYBOARD WORKS AS GOOD AS THE OTHER ONE IN MY OTHER COMPUTER

My office is in the basement but there are a few windows (the windows face north and are at least 20 ft away from my computer). I've had the keyboard for a few weeks and it has stayed charged mainly from the overhead lights. This keyboard has an excellent feel to it and having a separate numerical pad makes it a great replacement for the Apple keyboard that came with my iMac.

My working computer is a MacBook Pro 13 2017 4-port. I am learning video editing and needed more screen real estate.  After researching prices for quality 4k monitor prices for my laptop, this iMac was only a few hundred $ more, and you have a new computer to boot.  This machine is blazingly fast compared to my MacBook, and verified when checked with geekbench's free version, which is to be expected with a newer machine, and the screen is beautiful.  My only complaint is with Apple not making the wireless keyboard with the same size keys and spacing as a MacBook. Going back and fourth between machines, as I do in my daily workflow, I find my fingers overshoot on the smaller wireless keyboard. The new Trackpad has some of the same feel issues as well. bought this for my desk at work so i could sit at stand.I have had this mount/desk for several weeks and it's awesome. I was looking for something that would feel normal working on while sitting and would sit flat on my desk while also having the ability to move it up to standing height where I would not need to look down at the monitors.I'm over 6 feet tall and i can raise it high enough to where I would need to look up if I wanted to. It can go all the way down to my desk to where the keyboard tray is completely flat on my desk for when I want to sit and monitors are only 8 inches are so off the desk. Mount will raise and lower to any height and stay there.Very easy to move up and done and easy to adjust the tension as well.Mount feels very sturdy and well made. When it is in the raised position I can easily use the mouse and rest my wrists on the keyboard with no sag or dropping. I have left it in the up position several times overnight with no movement whatsoever when I came back the next day.

This workstation is very sturdy and it's easy to raise and lower. The only assembly needed is for the keyboard tray.When the station is completely lowered, it does not lock into place. You can raise and lower it approx. 1 inch without using the spring levers. Once I mounted my two monitors, this wasn't really an issue. The weight keeps the desk down in the lowest position.Shipping weight was approx. 50 lbs.

Simple to raise and lower. Did not have to assemble. My back feels much better since I am able to stand at my desk.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.
