Rate Over Air Digital Antenna

I recently purchase a Tablo for Over the Air TV and the WD 2TB drives works great with it allowing me to record and playback local TV and view the shows on my Roku's, phones and computers.

When broadband finally came to our rural location streaming video to go with our off-air antenna was a first purchase. I've been setting up Roku units for clients for years and chose them to use for my home.

I bought this so I would watch over-the-air programs that are not able to be seen via Hulu and all the other streaming options scattered in my house. Plug it in, attach an antenna and run the software. I now record my PBS programs from the various PBS channels available in my area. I love the fact I can program it to record. It wakes up my laptop and does the work. It's awesome. The little antenna it comes with wasn't long enough for my application. So I attached one of the flat types of antennas and positioned it by a window. Simple and elegant gizmo and works. My laptop is a dual boot machine and I had no issues installing it on Win 7 and Win 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally watch over-the-air TV. I'm more of a Hulu/Netflix guy. But there are certain times when it becomes really useful like during the Olympics. I connected this antenna to my newish LG 4k TV and found the setup to be quite easy. What's really useful are the three LED lights that indicate you are getting the maximum signal. This allows you to easily position and orient the antenna to pick up the most channels. I live in Austin, TX, and I was able to access a bunch of new channels with this. I admit I haven't used it much since setting it up, but I'm glad to have this antenna for when I need it. Also, the gray cloth and plastic aesthetic looks modern and fashionable -- much more elegant than those old rabbit ears :)

I am not using this for its intended purpose. I am using it for a portable over the air hdtv antenna stand for my camping setup. I like that it didn't have to mock something up myself. And the rod is easy to attach/detach from the base... which keeps the whole thing very portable for my needs.

Over 30yrs in amateur photography from all over the world. The 6d mkii is the poor mans version of the 5d mk ii I’ve dropped over for the past few years and I must admit gets the job done filling the void of wanting the 5d mkii. Exceptional full frame camera that excels in my expectations of the model. B&h was one of the few companies with one in stock and it came with the extras bundle which settled who was going to have my business. Exceptional customer service and quick to receive .

When I went digital and really got into photography I tried a variety of different brands of lenses & accessories. Over the years I've come to trust and rely on Hoya filters. When they introduced the antistatic filters I thought I would give them a try. Boy I am glad I did. The quality of the glass, the rim & the coatings is sensational. They stay clean for a long time and when you do need to clean them it's a snap.

I'm a professional digital cinematographer/DP/director/producer. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on Emmy and Telly Award Winning television productions, independent films, music videos and corporate/industrial projects. Crews I've worked with and I have stuck with certain brands because they've never failed to provide professional results. So, I'm very particular about the quality and performance of new gear... I bought this at the last minute to compliment a Sony FDR-X3000 action camera. Of course I read other customer reviews for reference. However, you never truly know that an untested device will meet your particular needs until you actually use it. Well, I have been pleasantly surprised to say the least! Yes, there are certainly more expensive microphones that will add even better quality audio. Nonetheless, for the price and the fly on the wall behind the scenes type of documentary I purchased it for.... WOW. It clearly picks up voices outdoors from a car length or more away. The included squirrel's tail wind noise suppressor does wonders! This is my first Rode product and I am completely enamored with it. Far exceeds my expectations!!!

I've been shooting digital for a while and wanted to get back into film. Over the years, I developed a sensitivity to chemicals, and I thought that the sensitivity would keep me out of the darkroom. I tried this respirator and it seems to work although I've not tried it for long. The value is definitely personal and individual. I will always yield to my lungs, but so far so good.

Over my years of doing digital photography, I have found David's guides extremely helpful. I've been using my Z9 for two years now, and this book fills in the gaps, but most importantly, it answers the WHY questions for me. As powerful and complicated as this camera is, the Nikon (download it) user's guide is disappointing. Another thing I like about David's book is he gives is own personal preferences for different settings. If you are going to spend this kind of money on a camera body, it is well worth having this guide.
