Ont he Leica M11 Monochrom, this viewer lets you see through the lens. It displays the image in B&W which I like vs the rangefinder which is seeing the world in color. Also the it's through the lens focusing and I like seeing the image snap into focusing that way. Last it's more precise framing.

You will not believe how distortion free this lens is (when held level) until you look through the lens with a reflex viewer or at the image on a screen. Same for edge to edge sharpness I especially like that set to F11 the wide DOF keeps so much in focus

Bought this for,my 90 year old dad so he could view old slides. Works just like one we had 40 years ago. You insert the slide, press it down into the viewer, and a light comes on displaying the image on the screen. The image does not fill the screen, but is magnified enough that you can make out the picture. Wish the image was a little larger, but it is still large enough to view and enjoy the slide without having to drag out the projector and screen. The viewer is also small enough to hold in your hand end easily manipulates without having to deal with a stack loader. Each slide is inserted one at a time, viewed and then removed. Simple and easy. Doubt he will ever use the little fold out wire stand, but it is not in the way as it folds flat in the underside of the viewer. My dad is very pleased with the viewer and has no problem operating it. Great product for the money! Excellent service from B&H too. First time buyer and pleased with customer service and speed of product delivery!

I bought this because i wanted a good quality image that was not to wide a view. When downloaded the software i found it allowed me width setting, both were perfect. I best part is it has video compression that is built in. I use this as a work around for the very slow internet upload speed that i have (about 2.5mb) which doesn't allow me to share a video without it stopping and starting for the viewer. i use the C930e to view my screen and it sends a smooth playing picture for the viewer.

Great to have this slide viewer to look at old family slides. The other Slide Viewer I own is not a good a magnifier or as easy to use. Definitely recommend this product!
