Raw Photo Converter

Very useful as a secondary backup for RAW-photo files.

Both video and RAW photo files write very fast to this card!

Holds a ridiculous setup very stable. See my photo. I would never use a 2X converter plus all 3 macro extensions with my 55-300 fully extended. But it holds with the lock knob turned to 10. (It goes to 12).

Bought this converter to use on my Fujifilm XH1. I highly recommend it! Used it at a recent beach photo shoot. Put a Canon FD 80-200mm F/4 on a Fujifilm XH-1

As a wildlife photo enthusiast I find the converter to be the item of choice where getting close to any animal could blow the shot completely. Birds are that example. If you are too close they are gone and too far away your shot is hampered by distance. The ability to double lens powers is a definite plus. Starting with the 70-200mm f2.8L IS II USM or moving up in renting a lens for a particular weekend shoot this converter adds to any upper end Canon Lens.

I asked B&H if this was compatible with my Nikon D3200 using the 55mm-300mm zoom lens. They said the auto-focus might not work in all lighting conditions. I was okay with that. I used this at my grandson's high school graduation that was held in the football field. It was early evening with sunny skies. It focused perfectly. I got great photo's from the bleachers 40 yards away. I even got a great video clip of him walking up and accepting his diploma. Picture quality was very good. I am not sure if the auto-focus will function in reduced light, but I am very satisfied and manual focus is not an issue. This is a very inexpensive way to boost a 300mm lens to 420mm. I compared using the converter to taking a photo without the converter and enlarging it to the same size. The tele-converter photo is much clearer.

Been a photo buff for many years and this is the best converter I have used. Picture clear as with the lens alone. Great item.

I plug this converter one end to my Sony CX550, the other female end to LANC, then CX550 can be wire controlled for on/off, photo video zooming, works great.

Could not find a converter locally. Went to B&H Photo online and called for help so I would order the right model. As before they had the right product and I got great service. Thanks

I use this drive for photo storage, interfacing with two Macs using Lightroom. Fast drive, plenty of storage for JPEG and RAW, so far. No problems. I would easily buy this again.
