Ray Band Sun Glasses

clean all my lenses, filters et all including reading glasses and sun glasses.

The glasses were excellent. They provided a clear safe view of the sun and eclipse.

I use this lens band on a sun hood with an Optech rain cover on top of it.  It gives a stronger hold to the rain cover.

I tested 4 brands and the B&H Eclipse Glasses gave the best view of the sun and felt the most protective! The VisiSolar Smartphone Filters produced a natural white light in photos... but any position I held them on my smartphone, the sun images came out as an oval shape sun with a lot of glare. So I cut a big piece of cardboard cereal box to make a wide phone shield, cut out a rectangle where my smartphone lens is located, and taped a single cardboard-framed eyepiece of eclipse glasses over this lens hole to make a much better cell phone camera filter.

As a hunting guide, I have put many hours on these glasses and have enjoyed them for every second! I have not gotten any eye fatigue when sitting and glassing with these binos for long periods of time. In Alaska, glassing for Brown Bears, I never get tired of having these up to my eyes for the majority of the day. They fit perfect in my hands and up to my eyes. The field of view is large and the clarity of the glass extends all the way out to the outer edge of the field of view. Best of all, low light conditions are not an issue with these binoculars. They gather a ton of light during those key time periods at sun up and sun down, to give me that slight advantage. I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with these glasses!

I don't shoot with glasses but wanted this to block out the sun! It works beautifully! Highly recommend!

I always wear sun glasses when I shoot photographs outdoors. The Vello large eyecup on my Nikon makes seeing through the view finder much simpler. If you use it without wearing glasses, the eyecup does a wonderful job of keeping extraneous light from coming between you and tour camera viewfinder.

Excellently made glasses that do a remarkable job making the sun comfortable to view. They are so dark the only thing you can see in daylight IS the sun and its muted to a pleasing orange disk. Will be perfect for the Apr8 eclipse or any time you just want to see the sun. Only current downside note, glasses wearers may find it difficult to keep them on (normal issue for us) but I'm sure I can adjust them OK.) So good I ordered Daystars camera lens filter and I expect the same excellent quality.

I'm using this for outdoor video to shade the sun from the camera screen. The eye piece changes enough for my prescription glasses, so I see the screen better than with glasses alone, obviously I could use new glasses. There is slight distortion at the edges but it's not a deal breaker for me.
