I currently live on campus and as of late am using a dual monitor setup. In order to have enough work space I have to push my laptop to the corner of my desk, creating a very awkward typing position. This Logitech Illuminated keyboard was a perfect fix for my problem. The keyboard has a laptop key-feel and is very quiet. I get compliments from my project group members when doing CAD work all of the time. I utilize the hot keys, mainly the music symbol (set to open Itunes) and the home symbol (opens Google Chrome) all at the touch of a button! The hot keys may be assigned with the supplied disc. (Is Vista compatible) Now for the Illumination. You have the option to have Bright, Dimmed, more Dim, Off. It has exceptional visibility and has a great wow factor. This keyboard is great for playing games and also pleasant to type on and not as loud as a mechanical board. It also has a pretty impressive heft to it, so it does not slide around one's desk. 5 |
