I love this keyboard. I haven't used a mechanical one since the 80's? 90's? Cherry Bl gives you the clicky sounds - it gives you the feeling that you've accomplished something great when you add another chapter in your great American novel! Generations will laud your work, but only you (and those who read this review) will know the secret was the DAS keyboard. It responded to your touch with tactile feedback and sound. It affirmed you as you wrote on those days when you ventured off your outline, encouraging you to create something unexpected and beautiful, that you could bring back into your story. 5 |

This keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard. Amazing keyboard, with the Cherry MX Blue switches (there are other kinds as well) giving good feedback and audible click. Would definitely recommend this keyboard! Key puller- make sure you have it gripped on the bottom of the key; not on the side. Pull up straight, not at an angle. Use the 'FN' key to use the functions on the F keys (the top row of keys) B&H Photo Video shipped it kinda slow, but it was the holiday season! 5 |

This is my first mechanical keyboard and it is incredible. Feels very well built, and the MX Cherry Blue switches have that clickity goodness that I wanted. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MX cherry blues are perfect, great mechanical keyboard that doesn’t break the bank. 5 |

I strongly prefer mechanical keyboards. My Cherry MX Blue Stem arrived today and it's perfect. Replaces a sixteen year old Mircon mechanical keyboard that was beginning to wear out. Unless one is a gammer I see no reason to spend more for the more expensive keyboards 5 |

This is my third Das Keyboard product. Lost the first in a fire, and am using the second one on a secondary computer. Bought the Prime 13 for the Cherry brown switches and the keyboard back-lighting. As mechanical keyboards go, I don't think a better one exists. It's not as loud as the Cherry red switches in my old Pro Red model, but I added some MX rubber switch dampeners to make it a little quieter, anyway. It's nearly as quiet as a membrane keyboard now. 5 |

The Das Keyboard 4 Pro (Cherry MX Brown switches) is a sheer pleasure to work with. The weight of the keyboard keeps it stable on the desk, and the feel of the keys is satisfying. The keyboard is far from silent, but that is the nature of mechanical keyboards, and the sound is not outrageously loud. The tactile nature of click-click-click of the volume knob is just fun. 5 |

This keyboard is exactly what I'm looking for. After a couple weeks of use, here are my thoughts: + Cherry switches. Many keyboard manufacturers, Logitech included, are moving to their own mechanical switches so it's refreshing to have the option for the real-Cherry-deal here. +/(-) They're tactile and satisfyingly loud—perfect for at-home work but know what you're getting if you choose Blues before bringing them into the office. +/(-) No software. This is a pro for me—nothing extra to slow my computer down or be asking for updates every other week. But might be a con if you're wanting to program macros or remap keys. + Solid build. Aluminum face and not a lot of excess border around the edges. + Double-shot keys mean they'll never wear the letters/numbers off. I like the font choice for keys, but another commenter said they didn't like it. Personal preference. - Only one cable means there's no pass-through USB port on this build that sometimes comes with keyboards. 5 |
