Rca Digital Flat Amplified Antenna Troubleshooting

I had some very noisy RCA connections to some internally amplified speakers. I bought this, hooked it up, and the noise is gone. If you've got XLR connections, use them, and use this to connect them to your computer.

It says it goes to 60 miles and it really does, I did a mileages check and we are 58 miles away from a broadcast station and we get over 72 different FREE channels, nice and clear and no cable bill. Have non-amplified antenna in the attic - and that line is split 3 ways. The 2 smaller TVs weren't dropping 2 channels, but the larger TV with Samsung HDTV tuner, loses 2 channels every minute or so with weak signal. After installing the Winegard - no more weak signal on the one channel. The other channel is very watchable now with less drops. Very satisfied.

I live in rural Florida and was able to get one to two lights on device. If there are issues with signal, you can always mount the device to the wall. The programs were clear and the sound was perfect. I got some really good channels with my new HDTV antenna.

I just connected the antenna's coaxial cable to my TV, plugged in the amplifier, and set my television to scan for over the air channels. I live in the suburbs, not far from a major city, but my home is surrounded by woods with very tall trees. I still am able to pull over 20 clear channels. I love that there is a signal level indicator on this antenna. The picture quality is clear, and is in high definition. This antenna is very classy looking. It sits on top of my entertainment center and fits in seamlessly with my home decor.

I used a pair of Catapult (TX + RX) to replace some long RCA cables. Not only does the flat CAT5 cable take up less space under the carpet, but now there is less hum and buzz because the balanced outputs can be used.

Works great with Neumann KH150 speakers for digital i/o (I had some RCA cables that didn't work or had digital problems like popping but this cable worked.

This cable is great for connecting many types of gear you may not have considered before. I use it to connect my digital recorder (which only has RCA outputs) to my studio monitors. Very high quality connectors.

We wanted to extend our Stereo system to other parts of the house, and after some research, I settled on this BT device. I'm using the BTA30 on the zone 2 (RCA analog) output of an Onkyo TX-8555 receiver to transmit to bluetooth enabled speakers and sound bars around the house. Since the Onkyo does not have digital audio out, I used an analog to digital audio converter** to go from the RCA output on the receiver to the digital TOSLINK input on the BTA30. Setup was simple and straightforward, just remember that the BTA30 has a volume knob, so remember to turn it at least halfway - i had left it all the way down and was trouble shooting for several minutes until I noticed the knob position - turned it up and it worked! I am experiencing a wee bit of latency if I'm listening to the same music in both zones at the same time, but that's most likely because the speakers I'm transmitting to are not APTX capable. In all, it's not that big of an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the BTA30 - and the B&H shopping and shipping experience is second to none! **If you don't have a digital output available, you will need an analog to digital audio converter that accepts RCA audio inputs and digital TOSLINK output. You could use the BH #GEATVDA to accomplish this.
