Rca Doorbell Camera Blue Iris

After several weeks of research for an ultra wide camera that wouldn't break the bank, I requested a quote and special ordered this one from B&H. Took a bit long to receive, 22 days from order day to DC, as it comes directly from HikVision California, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. I'm using this camera with Blue Iris, so I won't speak about the built in motion detection, masking capabilities and other characteristics of that nature. I rely on Blue Iris for those. Several features that were must haves. Single lens with 180° horizontal field of view, it has built in lens distortion correction, which can be manually disabled. There's a bit of distortion towards the edges of the image, but this is expected. RTSP capable, outdoor, PoE, WDR, and IR. Overall 5 stars, if you're looking for an 180° outdoor cam, definitely take a look at this one. 5 |

Purchased to use on a 11 camera Blue Iris system, all cameras recording full time. Initialized and moving large amounts of data to make sure all is OK before moving to the BI system. Performance is better than expected (hdparm of 250ish MB/sec. Quiet and runs pretty cool. I like it. 5 |

Bought this to use with my Blue Iris security system works great and cameras that are attached to it work well 5 |

It works great. The iris knob is very sensitive, but that may be the camera. I've gotten used to it, though. 5 |

I liked it, iris thin so less to no vignette. 5 |

No f/stop iris adjustments possible with the original Pocket 6K. Iris control works fine with the Pocket 6K Pro. 5 |

Wanted to expand my Fuji X-System and already had some Canon L lenses. Worked just like I hoped. Used it on my XT-1. Even though there is no electronics so no AF and aperture control, the Fuji's Focus assist along with the Adapter's iris control get the job done. No instructions, yet if you know that you are interested in this, you don't need any. Feels solid and mates up perfectly. With fast glass and bright sun the iris gets my XT-1 back to an exposure within it's max shutter speed. Can generate some vignette when you need to dial down the light. Since I mostly shoot wide open, this was an inexpensive way to expand my X system with lenses I already have. You do have to go into the camera's menu and select shoot without lens as the camera cannot recognize that there is a lens attached. Glad I got it. 5 |

Mounting your video camera on a tripod has some obvious benefits, but if you then have to fiddle with the zoom, focus and iris controls on the camera body, those benefits are reduced. Almost any adjustment will result in camera movement, and not the intended kind. This contraption solves that. I haven't tried any other pan handle controllers for comparison, but can certainly attest to the build quality of this one. Its mostly plastic, but solid plastic. The focus and iris knobs are metal, the mount is metal. It all feels solid, and it works great. 5 |
