We wanted to extend our Stereo system to other parts of the house, and after some research, I settled on this BT device. I'm using the BTA30 on the zone 2 (RCA analog) output of an Onkyo TX-8555 receiver to transmit to bluetooth enabled speakers and sound bars around the house. Since the Onkyo does not have digital audio out, I used an analog to digital audio converter** to go from the RCA output on the receiver to the digital TOSLINK input on the BTA30. Setup was simple and straightforward, just remember that the BTA30 has a volume knob, so remember to turn it at least halfway - i had left it all the way down and was trouble shooting for several minutes until I noticed the knob position - turned it up and it worked! I am experiencing a wee bit of latency if I'm listening to the same music in both zones at the same time, but that's most likely because the speakers I'm transmitting to are not APTX capable. In all, it's not that big of an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the BTA30 - and the B&H shopping and shipping experience is second to none! **If you don't have a digital output available, you will need an analog to digital audio converter that accepts RCA audio inputs and digital TOSLINK output. You could use the BH #GEATVDA to accomplish this.

I purchased this to replace an analog IEM antenna combiner that I was using on a Digital IEM platform that was having issues with dropouts and interference. The original (high-end professional) product had been recommended by another supplier, and I was skeptical that it would make any difference to replace as it was amplifying and combining the same signal. This combiner (made specifically with tuning to support Digital IEM's) instantly fixed all of the issues I had been chasing for months. The IEM's are now solid from hundreds of yards away, and no dropouts. This thing has saved my productions.

Connected to our 29 analog flat screeen TV. Videos and pictures were surprisingly clear. No problems or complaints.

I bought this to convert the digital audio output to analog so I could use my older TV subwoofer and satellite speakers.  What they dont mention is it includes a 3 fiber cable.  So if its long enough, dont bother to buy one separately, like I did.

Use the S-Video to HDMI Converter to connect an old analog video system to a new Digital TV. Without this device the entire system would have to be replaced. That was infeasible.

Used with Spectrum cable and with digital tv antenna. I did not know that my tv would turn the receiver on and off so when using the Spectrum issued remote it would turn off and back on. Just had to eliminate it from the remote.

Needed speakers that where made for a small room environment, so I was surprised when I came across these speakers that were called ultra near field, I have yet to see that name on another set of speakers, but that's exactly what I needed! Some seeming audiophiles that reviewed these speakers on Amazon said the DSP is nothing stellar, so I bought USB DAC with XLR outputs (since they go well with a stereo TRS to XLR cable), since I have the WiiM Ultra for Wi-Fi audio that already uses the RCA input on the speaker, I needed something that would go to the balanced TRS input on the speaker. Now, you can use the USB C, but it seems it more I can use the two other inputs and using the built-in USB C would switch off the analog inputs until you unplug the type C cable, unless of course there is a way to switch easily from USB to analog inputs, but since I only use analog inputs I could listen to both analog inputs simultaneously if I don't pause the 1st connected piece of equipment, so far that's nice! And of course by just utilizing the RCA and TRS inputs I forego using the built-in DSP that obviously isn't as good as my standalone DAC that has it's own type C input, but much much higher resolution, so these speakers work wonderfully for me not only with very close range (hand distance, although you can still hear them at the end of the room, unless your connected piece of equipment is turned way down, perhaps), having that optimal distance desk friendly close, similar to a pair of reference headphones, but also utilizing the speakers balanced TRS and unbalanced RCA very well. One of the ideas I had behind buying these speakers was to use them as an alternative to a reference set of headphones and they did just exactly that!

I'm using these in a high end analog stereo system at home and the benefits over the RCA cables was not subtle. There's a significant presence of the soundstage but also hearing details in my demo tracks I didn't know was there. No coloring of the sound. These have squahsed my entire investment in much more expensive RCA cables. I am a fan.

I actually bought this for the tape out. My Roland V-8HD switcher only has RCA as an analog in, which can result in impedance problems from balanced stereo feed. Mackie 402-VLZ4 solves the problem. Board mix to Ch. 3 stereo bal/unbal in, RCA tape out to switcher. Impedance problem solved. The 2 mic preamps are a bonus. Very clean sound.
