Rca Universal Remote Transmitter Manual

Since I shoot manual flash only and I dont need to have autonomy over remote flash controls from the transmitter, this works perfectly for me. Cant imagine wanting anything more complicated. Very reliable firing on both speedlights.

I'm not at the budget for some of the higher end radio transmitter/receivers that are out there, and will be using my Quantum in manual mode most all the time off camera anyway. What I needed was a solution to remote fire the Quantum with my Pacific Rim made radio system's receiver, which also terminated in a mini plug. I combined this along with a female to female mini bridge and my needs were solved on the first click. If you need grouping, remote ability to change ratios and power, etc. then more expensive solutions are clearly out there, including Quantum's. However, if you just need simple remote firing, this is a perfect item to work with.

The RFS 2.2 is easy to operate, very reliable and universal. With the transmitter in the camera ( nikon, Leica m10p, SL, Q2 ) and the RFS connected to pack in the receiver mode you can trigger Broncolor packs ( Primo, Pulso, Grafitt ) and others. However the HSS function as well as the power controls are limited to Broncolor packs and mono lites with built in RFS2.2 receivers.

Works perfectly. The manual isn't the best but the product is excellent. Only thing really missing is an RCA stereo output which I hope they add in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Remote worked exactly as described. I plugged in the 10-pin transmitter and paired it with the receiver and immediately started taking pictures. If you need a remote for your Nikon that has a 10-pin connection, this is the remote you need. It works with my D4 and my D850.

I really enjoy the product. Perfect for what it was purchased for. Only draws are the difficulty of instillation with the universal mount and lack of paper manual. Projector is used for church and CD manual would have to be handy for quick reference. Paper guide is more easily assessible for trouble shooting; but I guess I could always print a copy:)

I bought two of these with the separate transmitter to use for portraits LOVE being able to control both flashes from where I am rather than running back and forth constantly. Considered this a bit of a gamble given all the d.o.a. reviews, but everything worked fine out of the box and still does. A little less power than my Sigma DG Super flashes (not enough to affect my shoot at all); but then, two YN560-IVs and the transmitter cost me less than ONE of the Sigmas and that includes the 3-year SquareTrade warranty on everything. These flashes are manual only, so if you rely on ETTL and all that, these aren't for you. I've always shot in manual, so these were a breeze to use, and actually way MORE intuitive and clear than the Sigmas. Based on my experience so far, I'm definitely going to buy a couple more soon and finally get into 3- and 4-light setups! I can afford it now!

I just needed a manual flash to fill in, but having the flashpoint Xplor AD600 TTL and the transmitter, it open a lot of different possibilities to do and create and able to control everything on the tip of your camera. The flash provides great power and the recycling time is fast. I definitely recommend anyone that is looking for a manual flash to add to their godox/flashpoint system.

Transmitter is easy to use and fairly intuitive. But the manual needs work. I ended up downloading the manual and magnified the pdf onscreen. Tiny text. Although the manual identifies each button, it doesn't make clear why you would/wouldn't want to choose them.

Really enjoy using these lights. All manual but with the 560-tx controller or using one light on camera as transmitter, all light controls can be set at camera, eliminating need to go to each light for adjustment. Power range is great for small speed light, full power to 1/128th. Bought two of these for field use so I wouldn't have to carry my larger Paul C Buff Zeus lights every time. Very handy for interior work in confined spaces. Have only used them with smaller modifiers up to 24x24 and shovels, works very well and light is consistent. I use the Pentax system and no compatibility issues.
