Rca Universal Remote Zoom Button

I got one of these after purchasing and returning a MVR901EPLA (the bigger version that replaces the pan handle on a tripod head). The big one doesn't fit on the Manfrotto 701 head I purchased for a smaller camcorder, so this is my only option. This model probably has 1-2 less features, but it's compact and usable on any tripd head or could even be handheld. I used this model on a Canon XA-10 camera attached to a 701 head and it worked quite nicely. There is a dial on the side of this remote to limit the zoom speed, so you can dial it in to adjust for your needs. The bottom tip of this remote is a thumb rocker that has a lot of rotation, so you can be very precise with either zoom or focus if desired. The remote has a record start/stop button as well as a camera on/off button. Also has a button to toggle from controlling zoom to focus. I am still not sure what the AF button does -- there is very little useful documentation on these remotes.

about 1/4 the cost as the Sony version. The Sony remote has a movie button if you are into that.

Using it to zoom a remote camera.

The dual rca to dual 1/4 cables are what I needed. I was able to get perfect direct outputs and inputs into my Zoom H6. My field recordings and live sound recordings are fantastic. Thank you Hosa and the staff at B&H for helping me.

It also comes with an SD card so you can download all your videos and pictures onto your computer. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a video camera/camera.

Fits nicely in your hand and it's bigger than our normal remote. So I it's been harder to lose lol. Didn't have any problems getting it set up. Pretty self-explanatory. It's a must-have!
