Rca Vs 3.5 Computer Speakers

I'm using this adapter to get an RCA stereo auxiliary input to plug into my car stereo, which has a 3.5 mm stereo jack. This works exactly as it should. The RCA female plugs fit nice and tight, so I don't have to worry about the connection loosening over time. Great value for the price.

This is a very good quality RCA to 3.5 mm cord. Plus -- I didn't know it when I ordered it -- there's an unadvertised feature that I found to be very useful. The 3.5 mm plug has a little small-diameter shoulder that is perfect for inserting the plug into a mobile phone while still in a case. Most strong cable plugs are way too wide to fit and I have to remove the case to insert. Okay, you're probably saying: phones don't have 3.5 mm ports anymore! In my world, they still do!

I bought this subwoofer to extend the low frequency range of a table-top sound box used with my Sony TV KDL-46HX850. I used the TV audio output (headphone 3.5 mm jack) to get the audio signal to the subwoofer using a cable with 3.5 mm plug on one end and two RCA (M) on the other end; then a Y adapter cable 2 RCA (F) to a single RCA (M) to the subwoofer. The setup works fine. Just required some adjusting of the crossover and S/W volume settings. Using the audio out jack set to "headphone" in TV settings, I discovered that I can control the S/W volume with the TV remote for fine tuning. The capture of lower range sound is great, and I love the small size of this sub in the limited space I have in the bedroom.

This is a very well made unit, and can have variety of uses. I currently use it with my HDTV so that several people can watch TV wearing their headsets without disturbing others. The sound quality is top notch and the build quality is also excellent. Please note that they make two different versions of this thing. Make sure that you're getting the Pro version, which is what sold by B&H here. Some other vendors sell a similar unit but is not the Pro version. The difference is that the Pro version has both 1/4 and 1/8 (3.5mm) jacks for each channel, while the non-pro version only has 1/8 (3.5mm); and also the Pro version has both 1/4 and RCA jacks for input, while the non-pro version has only 1/4 not RCA.

The Datacolor SpyderX we purchased is great. Really makes the colors match on our computer VS what we are seeing in person. We highly recommend using this product compared to all of the competition's copycat products. This was well worth the investment!

It's an Mini to RCA cable. It does cable-y things and I can hear stuff through my speakers as a result. Nothing much to complain about at all.

Play 5 is great. Looking forward to experimenting with the 3.5 jack and my computer.
