Adding a camera-like grip completely transforms the ergonomics, making the flat phone conform to the motor-memory expectations of your hands. It just feels more natural. The remote-triggering capability and on-grip light are well implemented and a welcome bonus. Unfortunately, now I want to upgrade my perfectly functional phone to the newest version with a better embedded camera.

Now that cell phones have such good flashlight functionality you'd think there'd be little point to this. But it's great having on the keychain. Last night I had to take pictures of a leak at the underside of a water heater in a dark basement corner. There was simply no way to get a good image until I used this flashlight to light the area, which was under a protruding lip, and take the pic with the phone. Much more useful results. In the car at night it's surprisingly effective. I got it as a free item offered in a larger order, and it's one of the best freebies I can remember. Worth buying.
