I have been using this lens for window-lit food photography and portraits of the kids. I shoot with a D40, and have noticed a few times where I'm getting to bright of blow-outs when shooting outside. Whether the lens or more from the camera being older/slower, I haven't worried to much about it. 5 |

Because I have a dog, kids, a nosy cat, and shoot around food a lot, I feel the need for a lens protection filter. I know that the photo world is divided about these things, but if you're on the pro-filter side, this is a great piece of glass. It seems to do its job without interfering with the resolution of the lens. Worth it, for me. YMMV. 5 |

Got this for Christmas from the kids, I have always been a bose fan until now. This unit is perfect for our kitchen, I have never heard sound quality like it.
