Really Blurry Image

Such a  smooth head and the price is just right  no more joking and blurry image thank you

We use the lens mainly for bird photography. We are still learning how to use this lens. The issue we have is how to take tack sharp images at a higher rate. Huge magnification comes with this lens, but a cost of easy vibration. Any tiny vibration from the camera, the tripod and your hands would be magnified enormously. Thus blurry image results. You would think the image is sharp, but not until you blow it up 100% on your screen to find out it is not tack sharp. If the image is blurry, it is operator's error. When the image is tack sharp, the detail is just out of this world. I shoot raw and there is no in-camera adjustments for color, sharpness, and so forth. In its raw format, the image is incredibly sharp, extremely detailed, and its color rich and vibrant. What can I say? One of the excellent super telephoto lens that Canon has ever made so far. I even go so far as to say it is the sharpest super telephone lens that Canon makes.

I was trying to hate this lens because of its hefty price tag. This lens is close to perfect. I have a 135 f2 and in my own experience this is way better! The image stabilization makes it impossible almost to get a blurry photo. I mean don’t get me wrong if you know about cameras there is other factors in getting blurry images but slight movements isn’t one of them. Just an example I have a 50mm sigma art lens when I do a continuous shutter usually my first image is sharp and second is usually a tad blurry. I did a continuous shutter with the 200 f2 and every image is tack sharp.

The lens works perfectly, and while the zoom is not intense, the image quality is very crisp and the effecct of a blurry background can be achieved.

I had no complaints with v.1 but I can notice a (very small) improvement in the finish of v.2. It’s now less rugged which makes the image a little less “blurry”

It's just essential if you want to prevent blurry pictures!
