This RealTek GB NIC works great in our older DELL PowerEdge 2850 server!! We needed to replace an Intel Pro/1000 MT GB server adapter that went bad and bought another Intel GB adapter but the server would/could NOT recognize the new Intel NIC. Tried everything to remove the installed Intel NIC driver so it would take the new Intel NIC but the Intel NIC just would not be recognized - driver would not install correctly. The SOLUTION was to install the RealTek GB NIC card (non-Intel NIC). The RealTek NIC was recognized by the server upon bootup. I updated the RealTek driver that was installed by Windows Server 2003 using the CD that came with the NIC card. It worked with no problem. Am going to team two of them in the server later. Note: Make sure you update any driver installed automatically by your computer, itself, with the CD driver. 5 |

Was gifted a Poly wireless headset. But needed the Bluetooth adapter for it to work with my work computer. I had to disable the computer Bluetooth but after that this little adapter can reach around my whole house. I have even answered calls from my kitchen while cooking lunch. You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |
